2. Services
2.1 Massage Therapy: Our massage sessions are meant for stress reduction, relaxation and relief from muscular tension. It is not a substitute for medical care.
2.2 Client Feedback: Clients should immediately inform the therapist if they experience pain or discomfort during the session. The therapist can adjust the pressure of the massage to the client’s level of comfort. We will not be held responsible for any pain or discomfort experienced by the client during or after the session.
2.3 Massage Nature: Our massages are entirely therapeutic and non-sexual in nature.
3. Client health:
3.1 Disclosure: Clients are required to inform the therapist of any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries prior to the session. This ensures that we can provide the safest and most effective treatment.
3.2 Contraindications: Contraindications need to be mentioned before booking the massage. Some conditions may require prior doctor’s approval. Main contraindications include: contagious skin diseases, psoriasis, heart and vascular-related illness, cancer, and pregnancy in first trimester. In case of doubt, the client should consult with their general doctor.
3.3 Accountability: We cannot be held accountable for the possible outcome of a massage if any medical information (contra-indications, injuries, medication use) was not disclosed by the client.
3.4 Allergies: We use massage oils and essences during our sessions. Clients are requested to inform us about allergies or intolerances to prevent undesired skin reactions. There shall be no liability on the therapist’s part should the client forget to do so.
4. Appointments
4.1 Cancellations: Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the session rate.
4.2 Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time to accommodate the next client. Full payment for the session will be required.
4.3 Rescheduling: If, due to unforeseen circumstances, a therapist is not available to carry out your treatment, we will strive to accommodate you with another therapist or at another time.
5. Payment
5.1 Rates: Our rates are listed on our website and are subject to change. Please check the latest rates before booking.
5.2 Payment Methods: We accept cash and bank transfers. Payment is due at the time of service.
5.3 Refunds: Refunds are not provided for completed services. If you are dissatisfied with your service, please contact us within 24 hours to discuss your concerns.
6. Safety
6.1 Sobriety: Clients must be in a state of sobriety to receive services. If a client appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the appointment will be canceled, and full payment will be required.
6.2 Hygiene: Clients are expected to practice good personal hygiene. If a client arrives unclean, we reserve the right to refuse service.
6.3 Inappropriate Conduct: Any inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to sexual advances or offensive language, will result in immediate termination of the session and full payment will be required. We reserve the right to refuse future services to clients who engage in inappropriate conduct.
7. Confidentiality
All client information and records are kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
8. Liability
8.1 Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for any lost or damaged personal belongings brought into the practice.
8.2 Injuries: While we strive to provide the highest quality of service, we are not liable for any injuries or adverse effects resulting from our services, unless caused by our gross negligence.
9. Final Remarks
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website. It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly.
